Hello you’ve reached the page of Lois! I am a writer, director actor and presenter and passionate about making a change in the world we live in. The work I create is both funny, real, poignant and relatable. I’ve over 10 years experience in the industry and in that time have been honing my creative skills in a number of fields.

WRITER | Most recently my writing was selected as part of the Channel 4 Comedy Pilot writing schemes with NFTS, chosen out of over 5,000 applications. This productions is THE STRIP and is currently in pre-production. My writing has acclaimed 5* status with my theatre debut of IN THE SHADOW OF HER MAJESTY in November 2024.

DIRECTOR | After winning a flurry of awards for directing my first first short film EB & FLO I’ve since gone on to direct the female lead comedy LACYS WORLD in partnership with the charity New Horizon raising awareness of youth homelessness in our country. I also directed the critically acclaimed one woman show LAD that delves into the marginalisation and misogyny that a fem presenting drag queen experiences in the Drag Scene.

ACTOR | My acting career has been a wonderful journey so far working alongside incredible directors such as Paul Andrew Williams in Netflix no. 1 film BULL a ‘Gangland Revenge Shocker’ and Louis Armstrong in the LumoTV premier of The Chris Baker Show - both incredibly different roles that show my ranger as a performer, from dark kitchen sink to lighter comedy.

PRESENTER | I am also the founder of an all female filmmaking community SHORTIES. I host monthly screening events where I give empowering and inspiring speeches about the importance of mindset in this industry, and how important it is to centralise your network. I facilitate non-eggy non cringe networking events as well as creative workshops, script readings, industry interviews, weekly writers groups and I also work with the YOUNG SHORTIES (14-16 year old girls) on how they can create their very first short film!
